Acceptable Use

Use references thoughtfully

Use Swipefile to study interfaces, organize references, and communicate a design direction. Adapt principles with your own content and identity. Respect the licenses, trademarks, privacy, and other rights associated with every reference. Follow the Terms of Use and applicable law.

Do not use the service to

• Submit or distribute content you have no right to share, or expose private, confidential, or sensitive personal information.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or exploit other people; distribute illegal content or material involving child exploitation.
• Send spam, malicious links, malware, credential-harvesting pages, or deceptive submissions.
• Bypass authentication, access private administrative or account data, exploit a vulnerability, or interfere with another person’s access.
• Overload the service, evade rate limits, repeatedly generate unnecessary exports, or deliberately exhaust storage or infrastructure.
• Misrepresent a reference as an endorsement, claim ownership of third-party work, or remove attribution to disguise its source.

Automated access and AI tools

Public reference and collection pages, their published Markdown/JSON alternatives, and public discovery files are intended to be useful to browsing assistants and search engines. Read them responsibly, cache repeat results where appropriate, and respect robots directives, rate limits, access restrictions, and third-party rights. Stop or slow down when the service returns a rate-limit response.

Do not crawl private account areas or collect other people’s shared-board links without permission. A public endpoint or machine-readable format is not a blanket license to reproduce the library’s third-party images, build an unauthorized asset mirror, or claim rights to a source design.

Submissions and moderation

Submit public URLs and a relevant, accurate explanation of what makes the design useful. Do not include private access tokens or personal information. We may decline duplicates, low-quality submissions, mismatched captures, or content that violates these policies. Publishing a suggestion is at our editorial discretion.

Reporting a problem

Email busqueneil@gmail.com with “Swipefile abuse” and the affected URL. For a security issue, share the minimum detail needed to reproduce it privately; do not access, alter, or disclose other people’s data. For rights issues, use the information on our Copyright & Content Requests page.

Enforcement and review

We may remove content, limit requests, or suspend abusive access. If public accounts become available, restrictions may also apply to an account. We consider severity, repetition, safety, and legal obligations. Contact us if you believe an action was mistaken. We may need to act immediately to protect the service or comply with law.
